Providing legal assistance to the most vulnerable in our communities.
Our Mission
The mission of Legal Services of Northern California is to provide quality legal services to empower the poor to identify and defeat the causes and effects of poverty within our community, efficiently utilizing all available resources.
Our Work
LSNC assists thousands of low income and vulnerable Californians facing civil legal challenges. Through our eight field offices, our advocates assist the most vulnerable in the areas of safe and affordable housing, public benefits, education, health, and civil rights.
Who We Help
LSNC assists thousands of low income households and vulnerable populations (seniors, disabled, etc.) in 23 Northern California counties. Our work ensures that thousands of families can keep a roof over their head, food on their tables, and access to health care.
