What is the Valentine Run all about?
The Valentine Run/Walk, Race for Justice brings together community members, athletes, law professionals, families, and individuals in a friendly, yet competitive event.
2020 marks the 17th annual Valentine Run, a new and improved event in the tradition of John McIntosh’s Ol’ Fun Runs begun in 1976 that started and finished at McIntosh’s Sports Cottage. Participants contributed between $.50 and $1.00 to support local charities. Valentine Run participants still race on part of the Ol’ Fun Run course and still help make a difference in the lives of the people that Legal Services of Northern California serves. Whether you are new to the Valentine Run or a long-time supporter, we thank you in advance for your participation!
Who benefits from the proceeds?
We all do! Through special programs and advocacy, Legal Services of Northern California supports over 500,000 under-represented citizens in 23 counties in Northern California, helping the poor achieve justice and stability by challenging the causes and effects of poverty in our communities.
